What the form collects

Your name, your work email, your company, and the answers you give: which of the four diagnostic options sounds like your last quarter, your monthly ad spend band, what is in your stack, your industry if you enter one, and anything you write in the open field.

What is added to that automatically

When you send the form, three things are recorded alongside what you typed: the page or search that sent you here and any campaign tags on the link, your browser's user-agent string, and your IP address. The IP address is kept only to stop the same address filing the form repeatedly, and it is attached to the submission record rather than to your browsing.

Why

To reply to you and to write your scope note. That is the whole purpose. The three qualifying questions exist so the reply can answer them rather than ask them.

What the site records before you send anything

When you pick one of the four diagnostic options, answer the spend-band question, or click one of the buttons that leads to the form, the site records that against a random session identifier stored in your browser. It also records how far down the page you scroll. Nothing else is recorded: not what you type, not where your pointer goes, and there is no session replay or heatmap of any kind.

That identifier is a random string. It is not derived from you, it is not shared with anyone, and until you submit the form there is no name, email or company attached to it. It is stored in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie. This site shows no consent banner. That is a judgement rather than a technicality: the identifier is not essential to the page working, and if you are reading this from somewhere that treats browser storage the way it treats cookies, you would be entitled to be asked first. The studio's practice is aimed at businesses in the United States, and the thing being stored is one random string with nothing attached to it until you choose to write to us.

Clearing your browser's site data for this domain removes it.

Where it is stored

In a PostgreSQL database the studio controls, hosted with Neon, a Databricks company, in the United States (AWS, us-east-1). The site itself is hosted by Vercel. Those two companies process the data on the studio's behalf as part of hosting it, under their own published data processing terms.

What is not done with it

• There is no mailing list and no newsletter. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to anything.
• It is not sold, rented or traded.
• It is not shared beyond the studio and the two hosting providers named above.
• There are no advertising pixels on this site. No Meta pixel, no LinkedIn insight tag, no retargeting of any kind.
• There is no third-party analytics. No Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager, no Meta, no Hotjar, nothing. Everything described on this page is recorded by this site's own code into the studio's own database, which is the whole argument the rest of the site makes.

How long it is kept

Until you ask for it to be deleted, or two years after our last contact, whichever comes first.

How to ask

Write to hello@lagrangestudios.co and ask for a copy of what is held about you, a correction, or deletion. You do not have to give a reason, and asking does not affect anything else.

Changes

If this page changes, the effective date above changes with it.
